The NGO Mercy Ships operates the largest civilian hospital ship in the world.
Mercy Ships uses a hospital ship to provide more than 1,500 surgeries and 8,000 dental treatments each year, free of charge, to those who do not have access to them in developing countries. In addition, Mercy Ships supports the health system of host countries through training and infrastructure renovations.
