Mercy Ships Switzerland is recognised as a charitable organisation. Donations are tax-deductible in all parts of Switzerland, according to the law of each Canton and to the limits established.
Will I receive a confirmation?
If we have your email address, we will always send a confirmation of receipt by email. In the absence of an email address, we will send confirmations by post, but only for first-time donations, donations of CHF 100.- or more, or on request.
Will I receive an annual tax statement?
Yes, it will be sent to you the following year, in early February.
How can I maximise my donation?
Donations made at a post office counter, or by credit card, generate transaction fees which are charged to us. There is no cost to us for a bank transfer or standing order and thus we receive your entire donation.
How do I set up a standing order?
You need to set up a standing order with your bank, either online (e-banking) or by filling in the appropriate form.
