Double your impact

#GivingTuesday is the global day of generosity. This day is dedicated to giving and making a difference.

Mercy Ships is also participating and invites you to make a donation that will allow us to treat patients onboard our ships in 2022! Thanks to you, we will be able to treat many vulnerable people who are in dire need of surgery. You can read here the story of Houleye, a little girl that our volunteers operated on in Senegal in 2020.

In addition, every donation received until December 31, 2021 will be generously matched by two of our partners, Aligro Markets and Barry Rogliano Salles (Geneva) SA.

Nearly 5 billion people do not have access to basic, life-changing surgical care. That’s why Mercy Ships has been providing medical care to the people who need it most for over 40 years.

Each year, some 2,000 surgeries and 8,000 dental treatments are performed free of charge on our hospital ships.

You too can help poor children get their lives back on track by making a donation.

In 2022, we will double our impact!

Early this year, our hospital ship, the Africa Mercy, will return to Senegal to treat hundreds of patients, including those whose surgeries had to be cancelled in 2020 because of the pandemic.

And in March, our new ship, the Global Mercy, will be launched in Rotterdam. Her entry into service later this year will double our impact – and double the hope we can offer in Africa!
